This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
My deviation "botan no kujaku" [link] was an entry in the design a spring kimono contest, and I got second place Hurray for coloured pencils
I just wanna say a big THANK YOU to all who voted for me! You guys are the best . Makes me want to continue adding my work to deviantart and joining contests, even though I'll be swamped with work in the coming months.

nice job on all your yukatas and kimonos! I'm impressed O.O
I've made a wata-ire (without instructions -__-), but I haven't made yukatas since I don't see myself wearing one just for the hell of it. they look fun though. esp painting :'D
you should, like, find a kimono-making apprenticeship. bet you'd love it.
I do lots of things just for the hell of it, maybe it's my greatest talent?!! so far making yukata has been the most fun
A kimono-making apprenticeship would be great, but right now I can't speak japanese and don't have cash to spare to intern myself in Japan ...but i'm still open to it, thanks for the encouragement!
yeah, easier said than done, for sure. there's the financial and language barriers too, but I think you also have to find a mentor you can really work with. I'm keeping my eyes open for master indigo dyers, but I'll let you if I meet any master kimono makers ;']
